Maisy Cyr, a patient advocate and parenteral nutrition consumer based in Hallowell, Maine, and Linda Lord, a nurse practitioner at the University of Rochester Medical Center, in NY, were presenters at ASPEN's Malnutrition Awareness Week 2024. In this video, they discuss how providers can help patients overcome barriers to accessing nutrition support and avoid malnutrition, coping with shortages, legislation to address nutrition access barriers, and preparing the IV solution supply chain for natural disasters.
