OSU Redispenses $1M+ of Oral Cancer Meds to In-Need Pts

A program at The Ohio State University (OSU) Wexner Medical Center that accepts oral oncology drugs from patients who no longer can use them and redistributes the medications to other patients with financial hardship was honored with a Best Practices Award during the ASHP 2023 Midyear Clinical Meeting & Exhibition, in Anaheim, Calif.

In 2020, OSU started the state’s first oral oncology drug repository after advocating before the Ohio Legislature
