Birth Defects Appear in 1 in 10 Babies Born to Mothers With Zika

The CDC said the number of Zika infections in the United States is increasing, which is especially bad news for pregnant women. About one in 10 pregnant women with confirmed Zika infection had a fetus or baby with birth defects during 2016, the agency said in a press conference this afternoon.
