The CDC and FDA admitted that they have more questions than answers as they seek to determine what caused 12 deaths and 805 cases of serious lung injury related to vaping.
Since the outbreak began in July, lung injury associated with e-cigarette products has been reported by 46 states and one territory. Twelve deaths have been confirmed from 10 states: California, Florida, Illinois, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri and Oregon.
