FDA Issues Compounding Guidance to Ease Hospital Supply of Ibuprofen Oral Suspension

In light of record high demand and ongoing supply challenges for pediatric fever-reducing medications, the FDA has issued immediate guidance on compounding ibuprofen oral suspension products for pediatric patients with fever and adults who are unable to swallow solid oral dosage forms.
