Orlando, Fla.—A series of pandemic-related public health measures such as the use of barrier masks, quarantines and social distancing may be the reason for a sharp decline in neutropenic fever, according to a new study presented at the MAD-ID (Making a Difference in Infectious Diseases) 2022 annual conference.
