Seattle—When St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pa., switched from a traditional paper IV continuous insulin infusion protocol to a patient-specific insulin dosing system, “we saw a significant reduction in hypoglycemic events, the time to glycemic control was significantly faster, and patients spent more time in the glycemic control range,” Lauren A.
