Multimodal Pain Analgesia Regimen Boosts Function in Post-op Study

A new study has concluded that while a multimodal pain management regimen did not significantly decrease early postoperative opioid use in patients with upper extremity trauma, it enabled patients to participate in more activities after surgery than their counterparts receiving a standard opioid-based analgesic regimen.
