Quinolones Reduce Infections, Delay Febrile Neutropenia in Relapsed/Refractory AML Patients

BOSTON—Treating patients with relapsed/refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML) prophylactically with quinolones reduced the incidence of bacteremia and delayed the onset of bacteremia and neutropenia, according to a new study. The poster was presented at ASM Microbe 2016 (poster Saturday-326).
