Why Use CLSI Consensus Standards?

We have an array of standards that span nine main subject areas. By using CLSI standards, you save time and costs while improving process quality, speeding the development of standard operating procedures and implementing safer practices with greater ease and efficiency. CLSI Companion Products related to the standards are available to improve the ease of use of standards.

CLSI has a hierarchy of committees that oversee the development of our consensus standards. What’s unique about CLSI is that all of our committees have a balanced consensus body, which means that each of the three constituencies—government, industry and professional representatives—has an equal say when approving documents for publication.
